Budget Workshop Series
Join the Iowa League of Cities as we lay the foundation for the FY 2011 Budget
Year. League staff will provide the annual review of the issues and projections
necessary for you to build a strong foundation and will then detail the state
budget requirements. Following lunch, two concurrent sessions will be held:
Budgeting for Beginners, which will provide step-by-step instructions on
completing a budget; and Participation in the Budget Process, which will
feature a roundtable discussion on strategies for involving elected officials
and citizens in the budget process.
