Legislative Advocacy

The League hosted an advocacy workshop at the Stoney Creek Inn & Conference Center on November 15, 2006. The workshop began with legislative insights from political reporters Jeneane Beck and Joyce Russell of Iowa Public Radio. Members of the League lobbying team rounded out the program by reviewing the League’s legislative priorities and providing tools needed for a city's advocacy toolbox.
