The Iowa Office of Energy Independence (OEI) is seeking proposals under the State Energy Program (SEP) and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) for Technology Demonstration projects and the Building Energy Smart (BE$T) Program. The maximum per project award is $1,000,000 and the amount of funds available is contingent upon funding availability as projects are negotiated in other ARRA-SEP program areas.

Applicants are encouraged to review RFP applications for both programs and apply online at: www.iowagrants.gov. The submission deadline for submission is August 13, 2010. The OEI will host an Iowa Grants training webinar on July 26, 2010 from 2:00–4:00 pm to provide guidance concerning the state’s grant application Web site for both RPFs.
