I-Jobs Water Quality Grant program releases application form for small cities

The I-Jobs program which focuses on grants for water and sewer improvements has recently released the application for the small community portion of the program. The applications are due March 30, 2010.

A total of $55 million is allocated to create a new Water Quality Financial Assistance Program. The Iowa Finance Authority will administer the program. $35 million is reserved for communities with populations less than 10,000 for drinking water and wastewater projects. The remaining $20 million is reserved for communities with populations greater than 10,000.
