up-to-the-minute email updates on critical legislative action. As the
legislative session kicks off January 14, it is our commitment to provide you
with the most important legislative information about the League's 2008
legislative priorities and other critical issues.
By participating in CityVoices, you are ensured a front row seat to information
from the League AND discussion from members. CityVoices-Alert is the
update-only version of CityVoices; CityVoices-Alert members will receive
information from staff but not the discussion the announcements generate. At
any time, you may change your subscription from CityVoices to CityVoices-Alert
or vice versa by contacting listhelp@iowaleague.org.

Some housekeeping reminders when using the CityVoices list service:

Remember when replying to a CityVoices message, your response will go to the
entire network – over 400 other city officials will be able to read your
message!

If you want to reply only to the sender, push forward and insert the sender’s
email address.

Please use your best judgment when forwarding messages to others outside the
network. Many city officials expect to share responses with only other city
officials and do not intend for their emails to be forwarded to legislators or
other interest groups.

If you would like to send an email to League staff we encourage you to send
emails to cv@iowaleague.org. This address ensures that the email is viewed by
the lobbying team and other League staff.
