Who are my advocates?

The League wants to ensure that cities in Iowa have information on the legislative and governmental activities that affect them. These activities occur not only with the Iowa General Assembly and state agencies, but also on the federal level with the United States Congress and federal agencies and entities.

The Iowa League of Cities is a member of the National League of Cities (NLC) located in Washington, D.C. The League partners with NLC and other state municipal leagues to track federal activity.
